OPEN THE ARCHIVES

As the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 anniversary approaches, we still have little idea just how extensive western governments’ collusion with Islamists has been over the past few decades. In this piece for the New York Review’s blog, I argue that Congress needs to order the CIA to open its archives and set the historical record straight. Only this way can we figure out sensible policies for the future.
