It will be my honor to host Timothy Garton Ash for a talk May 20 at Beijing’s famous bookstore, The Bookworm. The title of his talk, From Berlin to Beijing, pretty much mirrors my bifurcated life over the past three decades. Hoping he’ll write an essay on this topic (Beijing and Berlin; not my life).
